FAQs
It’s simple and easy to apply!
We accept applications from:
New Zealand residents who are over the age of 18 and who are receiving a regular form of income into an online bank account.
You must also have your own email address and mobile number so that our lenders can contact you.
Just click on the Apply Now page and submit the application form, and your last 90 days of bank statements and we’ll work hard to find a lender for you.
No, Loans Online is not a lender. We do not make any credit decisions, and we do not lend directly to customers.
Loans Online works with a panel of Approved New Zealand lenders to try and source loans for our customers.
Our panel of New Zealand loan companies lend from $100 to $10,000.
If we are able to match you with a lender, they’ll contact you to discuss your loan options and repayment terms.
The good thing is that the process is so fast and easy you will quickly know where you stand and there is no obligation for just applying.
In order to apply for a loan of up to $10,000 through Loans Online you need to be at least 18 years old, a New Zealand resident and receiving a regular form of income.
The loan companies that we work with are responsible lenders so they will look at the other information you provide to make sure that the loan suits your requirements and you can comfortably make all of your loan repayments.

Anytime you like!
We accept loan applications, 24/7, and if we’re able to find you a lender you’ll receive notification from them within 30 minutes.
Our website is extremely mobile friendly – so you can apply from anywhere, at anytime of day or night.
As our application process is 100% online, we can only accept applications via our website, and we do not accept bank statements via fax or email.
Our bank statement provider is regularly adding new banks to their service, and if yours is not currently listed, hopefully, it will be added soon.
When logging into your bank account please ensure that you use your desktop internet banking Username and Password.
Please note, these are not the username and password used on your mobile phone banking app, which is different (some banking apps let you log in on your mobile with a short password. On our site you are required to use the full username and password – like you would use on your laptop or computer).
All of our lenders require your last 90 days of bank transactions to help them assess that you can afford the proposed loan. We use an external company (Credit Sense) to form a fully secure connection with your bank. Much like PayPal, Credit Sense do not keep your internet banking credentials. Your credentials are encrypted when you enter them, passed to your bank to gain access to your transaction history and then permanently deleted. If you need to use us again, you will need to re-enter your internet banking credentials
Yes, our application process is available 247, so if you apply for a loan on a weekend, we’ll try and find a lender for you.
As Loans Online is not a lender, we do not make any credit decisions.
If we are able to match you with a lender, they may undertake a credit check as part of their review.
If you would like to discuss repayment options on your loan, please contact your lender directly.
In the event that you are unable to make the next repayment on your loan, please contact your lender directly.

We will always try our very best to provide you with the best customer service, however in the event that we didn’t meet your expectations please contact us via our “Feedback and Complaints” page.
If you’re experiencing financial hardship please contact your lender immediately so that they can discuss options with you.
You should always compare your options before taking out a personal loan. These loans offer different interest rates and terms. There are sometimes other ways to pay your bills. It can be useful to see if you can extend your payment terms with your suppliers. This usually works well with utility providers. We believe that everyone has the right to have access to credit, so in the event that you can’t get any financial relief that way, a personal loan might just help you get through your immediate and temporary cash shortfall. You must be New Zealand resident and over the age of 18 years to apply. Importantly, the completion of the application form does not guarantee approval of a loan, and the loan amount and terms will vary depending on the lender who may accept the application. $10,000 may not be available to every customer. Furthermore, the time taken to approve a loan and transfer the cash from the loan will always vary. This website and Loans Online does not directly endorse a particular product and/or service. Because LOANSONLINE.CO.NZ IS NOT A LENDER, we cannot ultimately decide whether or not you are approved for a loan. We also cannot determine or influence the amount of funds you may receive using our referral services. The operator of this website will share the information you provide with participating lenders, advertisers, networks and other partners who may or may not lend or issue loans. Providing your information on this website does not guarantee that a lender will choose you or approve your loan application. We do not act as agents, brokers, or representatives for any of our lenders, and we do not endorse or charge you for any service or product. All information that we collect and share about you is in accordance with our Privacy Policy which we advise you to review before submitting any information using our form.
Because each lender is different and Loans Online has no control over the rates and fees each lender charges, we urge you to carefully review the terms associated with the offer before accepting or declining. Please remember that you are never under any obligation to accept an offer from a lender and you can cancel the entire process at any time at your discretion. LOANSONLINE.CO.NZ cannot be held accountable for any charges or terms presented to you by a lender, and we are in no way responsible for any agreement between you and a lender. For details, questions or concerns regarding your cash loan, please contact your lender directly. Please note that lender terms may vary, and lenders may use different criteria to determine whether an applicant is eligible for a loan. Not all who apply for credit will be chosen by a lender or approved for a loan. If a lender in the participating lender network does not choose you, your information may be offered to participating third-party advertisers and generators for consideration.
It is not our policy to perform credit checks on any of our customers. However, some of the lenders in our network might perform a credit check before making their decisions using the three major reporting bureaus such as illion, Experian and Equifax, as well as other alternate sources of consumer information. In the end, your credit rating may be impacted by a particular lender’s actions. If you do not pay back your loan by the specified due date, your lender may choose to report this delinquency to one or more of the major credit bureaus, which could negatively affect your rating.
Any of the information that you read on this website may be changed at any time without any prior notice. We cannot guarantee that your submitted information will be provided to a lender or that a lender will approve you for a loan. Not all lenders can provide up to $10,000. Finally, if you are having serious financial issues, it is often best to consult with a professional financial advisor/counselor.
